Den internationale kvindekonference planlægges af Enhedslistens Kvindeudvalg for at markere 100-året for indstiftelsen af 8. marts – Kvindernes Internationale Kampdag. Det sker i samarbejde med EL-FEM, et europæisk kvindenetværk tilknyttet European Left.  

Lørdag den 6. marts kl. 10 - 18  og søndag den 7. marts kl. 9 – 12.30. Reception fredag den 5. marts, kl. 17, for de, der ankommer der, og fælles middag lørdag aften. Der er mulighed for at deltage i flere demonstrationer og fester på selve dagen d. 8. marts.  

Foreløbigt program:

• Christiane Reymann (Die Linke, Tyskland, og EL-fem):  Indledning om hvad vi opnåede i løbet af de 100 år - kvinders rettigheder - frigørelse - ligestilling - valgret, - fri abort -barselsorlov - ligeløn - ligestilling - velfærdsstatens betydning for fremskridt for kvinders økonomiske og sociale uafhængighed.
• Drude Dahlerup (professor og feministisk forsker, Sverige): Statsfeminisme – når feminismen institutionaliseres – skaber det forandring eller det modsatte.
• Annette Groth (Medl. af Bundestag, Die Linke, Tyskland og EL-fem): Det usikre arbejdsmarked og den stigende sociale usikkerhed for kvinder som konsekvens af EUs neoliberalistiske politik.
• Line Barfod (MF, Enhedslisten, formand for den Venstresocialistiske Grønne gruppe i Nordisk Råd, og for arbejdsgruppe vedr. menneskehandel i BSPC (Baltisk Parlamentarisk Forsamling): Trafficking – kvinder og børn som nutidens slaver.
• Susanne Empacher (KPÖ, Østrig, og EL-fem):  Socialisme og feminisme. Ændringer af programmet kan forekomme. Desuden taler om:  Kvinder og krisen – Kvinder og kampen mod krig og for fred
• Drífa Snædal (De Venstre-Grønne, Island): Kvinder og krisen.
• Gona Saed (Middle East Centre for Women’s Rights, London): ”Kvinder i konflikt”.

Konferencen foregår på engelsk.

Program in English

The women’s conference is organized by the Women’s Committee of Enhedslisten/the Red-Green Alliance in cooperation with EL-FEM, the European Left women’s network, to mark the centenary of the women's conference in Copenhagen in 1910, when the International Women's Day was proposed by Clara Zetkin and decided.

The venue of the conference is Borups Højskole, Frederiksholms Kanal 24, in central Copenhagen, very close to the Danish parliament buildings.  

The conference will take place Saturday, March 6, 10 h. – 18 h. (6 p.m.) and Sunday. March 7, 9 h. – 12.30. There will be a dinner and social get-together on Saturday evening, March 6, and a warm-up reception on Friday evening, March 5, 17 h. (5 p.m.). It is possible to take part in demonstrations and social gatherings being organized on March 8.

We will seek to cover an overview of the gains of women over the past 100 years as well as focus on our future struggle.

Preliminary programme:

• Christiane Reymann (Die Linke, Germany and EL-fem):  Introductory speech: Women's rights - the vote, maternity/parental leave, women’s right to choose  - equal pay, equal opportunities and equal rights - the importance of the welfare state.
• Drude Dahlerup (professor and feminist researcher, Sweden): Is 'State-feminism' Transformative or in Fact Counterproductive?
• Annette Groth (MP Die Linke, Germany and EL-fem): The undermining of the welfare state and increasing precariousness - the consequences for women of neo-liberalism in the EU and elsewhere.

• Susanne Empacher (CP of Austria and EL-fem):  Socialism and feminism.
• Drífa Snædal (Left-Green Movement, Iceland): Women and the Crisis.

The language of the conference will be English, but with interpretation into French and German.
